Inspiration for the instruction is hands-on manual, Social Skills Solutions, by Kelly McKinnon M.A., BCBA & Janis Krempa M. Ed, BCBA. Targeted skills include joint attention, greeting, social play, self-awareness, conversation, perspective-taking, critical thinking, advanced language, friendship, & community skills.
Academic assistance for uniquely abled learners that uses Ogden Lindsley‘s data-based decision making procedures & instructional practices.
An approach that focuses on individual needs. Certain learners may need help sorting, recognizing, and organizing when they read. The Orton-Gillingham system can give a uniquely abled learner the skills they need to become a confident fluent reader.
Supervision of BCBA and BCaBA candidates. An essential component to prepare for work in the field as a Behaviorist.
Tutoring services for life-long learners preparing to take the BCBA certification exam. Learn about key behavior analytic principles and understand concepts in the seminal textbook Applied Behavior Analysis by Cooper, Heron, & Heward.
A scientifically based behavioral approach to Social Emotional Learning incorporating mindfulness, assessing values, and committing to acting in ways that will further those values.
Support from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst through the use of ABA techniques in a variety of situations & settings. The team will assist in choosing an appropriate assessment tool. Then, use data to make recommendations, model practices in a real-world context, discuss strategies, and provide feedback.
